The pre-service teachers (PSTs) will explore on the nature of literature and the theoretical bases, principles, and methods and strategies in the teaching and assessing of literature in the different genres poetry, prose, and drama. In this journey, the PSTs will prepare developmentally-sequenced lesson plans with a range of assessment strategies in the teaching of literature. Once the lesson plans are approved by the professor, PSTs take the challenge of doing a teaching demonstration in order to communicate the needs, progress, and achievement of their learners in the literature competencies. | ||
