This book is designed for use as a textbook for formal course in Mathematics of Investment. It should also be used as a reference book or as a self study text. Each chapter begins with clear statements of definitions and principles, together with illustrative examples and solved problems. The book includes discussions on simple interests, compound interests, annuities, amortizations and sinking funds, bonds and depreciations. Because of their increasing importance, partial payments and instalment buying were also included in the text. Attention is also called to the treatment of general annuity. Considerably more materials has been inlcuded here in the second edition. This has been done to make the book more flexible.
