Kernow Woodland Learning is based on the principles and practice outlined in the National Curriculum Guidance for the Foundation Stage. It began at Camborne Nursery School, Cornwall, as a pilot project to teach small groups of pupils outdoors in the woodlands for one session a week. With funding from the Camborne Pool Redruth Success Zone, it has now expanded to include most schools in the zone.
