If the Fourth Edition could be compared to a major overhaul, then the Fifth Edition is definitely a fine-tuning. Old wine is served up in new bottles in the form of ethical issues confronting the housekeeping department displayed as mini-case studies. It is hoped that these cases will inspire both students and the instructor to question the action (or inaction) of these fictional professionals and arrive at the conclusion that good business practices and ethical behavior are not mutually exclusive.
