Electronic Devices has been carefully revised to make this eighth edition a textbook with a smoother flow, improved clarity, and a more comprehensive coverage. Many recommen-dations from reviewers and current users have been incorporated. Coverage of electronic devices and circuits, including extensive troubleshooting and applications, is provided. Chapters 1 through 11 are essentially devoted to discrete devices and circuits. Chapters 12 through 18 primarily cover linear integrated circuits. Extensive exercises and problems, many using Multisim circuit simulation, are designed to strengthen students' understand-ing of circuit theory and to develop troubleshooting and measurement skills. The Multisim circuit files in versions 8 and 9 are on the CD packaged with this book. Newer versions of these files will be posted on the website at www.prenhall.com/floyd as they become available.
